いよいよ明日からまつりのべおか！
年に１度の盛大なおまつり、「まつりのべおか」「花火大会」が明日２９日、３０日に開催されます。
この「まつりのべおか」を迎えると、「夏が来た〜！」と心底感じます。
めちゃくちゃ暑いのですが、ハートも熱いので最高に盛り上がります。
「ばんば踊り」今年も踊るか！！
そんな「まつりのべおか」が開催されますので、明日、明後日は１８時閉店です。
ゴメンナサイ。でも「のべおか人」としての誇りと責務かと思っていますので、
ご理解下さいね！

第30回 まつりのべおか
7月29日（土）・・・（雨天の場合：8月5日（土）に順延します。）
ばんばコンテスト
時刻：午後4時〜
開会式
伝統の「ばんば踊り」や「丸岡音頭」、「北方音頭」、「北浦音頭」が踊られます。
時刻：午後5時〜
出会い神輿
合計6基の神輿が練り歩きます。北方町・北浦町からの担ぎ手も参加します。
時刻：午後6時30分〜
場所：川中シンボルロード
ばんば総踊り
今年は市役所側と消防署側の２ヶ所にスタート地点を設けます。 また、50基の太鼓を並べ、100人の叩き手でばんば太鼓を打ち鳴らす「100人太鼓」も披露されます。
時刻：午後7時30分〜
場所：川中シンボルロード
※交通規制は午後1時30分〜午後10時30分です。
7月30日（日）・・・（雨天の場合：8月1日（火）に順延します。）
太鼓競演会
新たに北浦町からも太鼓団体が参加します。
時刻：午後5時〜
場所：妙田緑地 後藤勇吉像付近
花火大会
テーマを「新生延岡市」とし、音楽に合わせた演出となっており ます。FMラジオを80.8MHzに合わせていただければ音楽を 楽しむことができます。

☆花火大会
「花火大会」は、打揚数1万発という規模の大きさもさることながら、実行委員達二十数名が花火打揚に必要な講習会に参加し、「花火大会」の企画、設営を行い、「花火大会」当日には、花火職人のサポートを受けながら自ら花火の打ち揚げまで行なっている点で花火業者に全面的に委託して行なっている他の花火大会とは大きく異なります。
なぜ、このような手の掛かることをするかというと、一つには経費の徹底的な節約が挙げられます。すでに述べたように、「まつりのべおか」は資金のほとんどを募金に頼っています。
そのため、お金のありがたみが身に染みているので、できるだけ無駄遣いはしないようにしようという実行委員達の強い意思が徹底されています。
もう一つは、「市民手作りのまつり」という、祭りが始まって以来の「まつりのべおか」の基本思想にあります。
行政が主導になったり、業者に依頼したのでは、市民が本当にやりたいという祭りにはならない、だから自分達の手作りでやっていくという確固たる信念の基に、歴代の実行委員達は頑なまでに「市民の手作り」にこだわったのでしょう。
☆出会い神輿
「出会い神輿」は、かつて今山八幡宮が夏の祭礼で行っていた「御神幸行列」が、今山八幡宮のご好意により、「まつりのべおか」との同時開催となったものです。
「出会い神輿」の主役とも言える「三百貫神輿」（約1トン）は、江戸時代の頃から担がれていたもので、途中、事故があって50年間ほど担がれていなかった時期がありましたが、市民の強い要望により、今から6年前に修復され、復活しました。それに、春日神社の神輿が加わって「出会い神輿」が実現したのです。
この「出会い神輿」は、大変激しい神輿の競り合いが魅力で、じかに見れば、きっと鳥肌が立つことでしょう！
☆ばんば踊り
「ばんば総踊り」は、5,000人以上の市民が、ひとつの巨大な輪となり、延岡市が誇る郷土芸能「ばんば踊り」で踊り明かします。
最近は時代の変化に応じて、各世代の感覚に合わせた新たな「ばんば踊り」も登場していて、現在は主流の「新ばんば踊り」に加え、鳴り物を駆使して踊る、エイサー調の「新々ばんば」や「サンバばんば」など、世代を問わず楽しめる構成になっています。
